Remote Access Support for Windows Doors Direct

Remote Access Support

What is Remote Access Support?

Rremote Access Support is a service we provide to help you navigate through our store, or to do the work for you. Navigating through the wide selection of products we have and building the perfect window or door with all of the options available on these products can be time consuming and overwhelming. With our Remote Access Support you can have us give you a Live Demonstration on how to navigate our store, get the information you need for the available options on a product, or even do all of the work for you. You will be talking with the representative via Live Chat or on the phone.

How does it work?

Live Chat with a Remote Support operator is similar to the Live Chat for Support found at the top of the screen. In both cases you can ask questions and get assistance to navigate our site. The only difference is that the Live Chat with the Remote Support operator allows you the option of having the operator take control of your computer to do the work for you during the chat. You can either communicate your questions and instructions via the Live Chat window while the operator is carrying out your instructions or supply the operator with a phone number to talk to you in person. Most people find it easier to give instructions and ask questions over the phone.

You are in complete control at all times. During the times that you give the operator remote access the operator will see a copy of your compuper screen on their end. When you give them control of your computer they will have control of your mouse and can use this to show you what to do, or to even do the work for you. You will also have control of the mouse, which will override the operator's control when you move your mouse. While in Remote Access mode you will see a small access console at the corner of your screen. It will have "Give the Operator Control" and Take Back Control" buttons. You decide when you want the operator to take control and when you want the control back.
